Appliance cost calculators.

Three simple tools for three different questions. Each shows its formula and limits.

Choose the right input first

Use measured kWh when you have it. Rated watts can overestimate appliances that switch a compressor or heater on and off. Annual labels use test conditions, so they are useful comparisons rather than promises about your bill.

The electricity calculator accepts daily, cycle, and annual energy. The comparison calculator works with annual kWh. The time-of-use calculator assumes the same energy moves between two prices.

All numbers stay in your browser. Nothing is uploaded or saved. The calculators cover electricity charges only. Fixed fees, separate gas or hot-water costs, and installation costs need separate treatment.

See watts versus kWh and finding the rate on your bill before comparing appliances.
